After the first time reboot of your computer during XP installation press shift+f10 then the task manager will open and there you will find that a process is running named setup.exe.
Now make the priority of this process maximum (or high whatever it is) by right clicking on that.
Done.
Find your xp installed in 10 min with tolerance 2 min.
