Coinciding with the launch of Transformers 3¨CDark of the Moon, Spice has announced their own¡®Transformer¡¯phone, called the M-5500. And by the looks of it, we cannot really decide as to what form factor the M-5500 exactly boasts of. A single glance at it, and you know that the mobile phone in the image below and both variants of the phone look very different. Wonder if it has a button that makes it transform from a candy-bar to a touchscreen handset.
Apparently, the M-5500 is inspired by the sci-fi tech that the Autobots use and can transform from a trendy bar to a touchscreen! Leaving that aside, the handset has pre-loaded Transformer 3 content like videos and wallpapers. Also, the M-5500 will have the autobot logo branded on the handset. The phone is enabled to be a Dual-SIM and has the following specifications:
2.3-inch QVGA touchscreen GPRS, WAP Bluetooth 2.0 1.3-megapixel camera Stereo FM Memory expandable to 8 GBWe quite like the transform thingy, especially if you cannot really make out the similarity before and after transformation. Spice has priced it at Rs. 4,599, which seems about right considering the specs and the gimmick certainly looks catchy enough.
